Travelling from nádraží in Brno

At the Main Railway Station you have to take tram No. 4 (direction Náměstí Míru), No. 12 (direction Technologický park), No. 10 (direction Bystrc, Ečerova) or No. 9 (direction Čertova rokle). The journey takes about 7 minutes. Get off at the stop „Česká“. The Institute of Musicology, as well as the Hotel Continental, can be reached on foot in about 7 minutes.

You will need a 20minute ticket for 20 CZK to travel by public transport from the main train station. The ticket can be purchased from the yellow machines at the bus stops, which only accept cash. Don't forget to mark your ticket on the bus/tram. You can also use contactless payment terminals directly in public transport vehicles to buy a ticket. Simply swipe your card when boarding and alighting.

Accommodation

For the participants of the conference, there are reserved single rooms (or twin rooms on request) at the Continental Hotel. The hotel is just 50 metres from the Institute of Musicology, where the colloquium takes place. Please ask at the reception desk, rooms are reserved on names of participants, the accommodation includes breakfast as well.
